🔊Rs 7.5L package for 22 LD engineering students

It was bonanza for students of LD College of Engineering (LDCE). Reliance Industries on Tuesday offered Rs 7.5 lakh package per annum to 22 students who will complete bachelor’s degree course in 2019. Seven students from mechanical engineering, seven from chemical, four from Instrumentation and Control and two from electrical and textile engineering each were chosen by the company, an LD official said.

The students have been offered portfolio in manufacturing and procurement. LDCE started placement process for 2019 batch a month ago. Officials said that so far, 25 companies have already visited the campus and made offers to students, of which 255 students have been placed so far. Yash Shah, an IT student who bagged the highest package of Rs 12 lakh per annum with HSBCTechnology said the trend is encouraging. “Those who feared taking this branch have nothing to worry now. Number of opportunities are expected to grow further,” Yash said.
